Sunday Dinner, #2

I don't think my idea of a mid-afternoon dinner is really going to work, so this week I'm just cooking up something for our regular dinner time. Today it is Slow Cooker Tuscan Beef Stew (my absolute favorite beef stew recipe), along with some cheese biscuits. I think I'd probably better make a tossed salad, too. I made some pudding parfaits for dessert, because I think Camden will get a kick out of that.

I thought today was going to be cold and dreary, but I was pleasantly surprised when the sun came out. I took Riley on a long walk this morning, and then Steve headed out on a long mountain bike ride. He's home now with the boys, and I'm here at the library, gathering things together for story time on Tuesday. Steve has tomorrow off, so I'll have the chance to head into town for a haircut, which I am needing quite badly. I'm thinking I'm going to need to stop at Starbucks for a peppermint mocha, as well.

Griffin continues to make great strides with his walking - - I noticed a huge improvement in his balance yesterday, and today he has been walking quite a bit on his own (without us prompting him). I just can't believe how fast he is turning into a "big boy" - - I sure wish he'd slow down a bit!

Must get some work done, so that I can go home and eat some of that beef stew!

I was happy to see sun this morning, too. Glad you have somewhere to post! Enjoy your Starbucks stop and haircut.

Hugs to you, my friend!!!
