Does Your Husband Dress Like This?

Seriously. Can you believe this shirt? Steve wears it all the time. In public. I'm not kidding, although I wish I was. He will proudly tell you that it is over 15 years old (obviously). Since Steve spends the majority of his waking moments in an Army uniform, I try not to tell him what to wear on the weekends. However, I think this shirt may be mysteriously vanishing in the very near future. If anyone knows where I can find a vintage Patagonia canvas shirt (in better condition than this one, of course), call me. Stat!

I say if he loves the shirt, let him wear it. No harm done. It's a man thing, I think.

Take heart...you are not alone! My husband wears tatty old shirts like that b/c he "has finally got them broken in." I kid you not!!

Heather, frayed and torn is the new fashion! Shoot they sell hats and jeans in this condition! Steve is good to go anywhere except to a fancy restaurant in the shirt!

Just last night, Steve pointed out the "sunwashed canvas shirt" in the new L.L. Bean catalogue...looks just like his beloved Patagonia...guess I ought to order one for him!

You know Heather - they're all alike. My brother is 69 and he still has shirts from High School. With Tom it's Red Sox t-shirts - drawers of them! But, life's too short to fret the small things so I let him keep them!

This post was actually written tongue-in-cheek...I've been teasing Steve about his shirt for a while now, but he's a big boy and does as he wants! :)

Is Steve asking if the "shirt fairy" has come after his shirt yet? Maybe the shirt/binky fairy is all in one. You'll have two upset boys if his shirt AND the binky disappear!

I say let the guy wear it!
It has got to be a guy thing for sure.
