Food, Food, Food...

I was recently backing up all of my photos from this summer, and I realized how many pictures I take of food. I think when I'm doing it, I'm thinking I'm going to blog about a particular recipe or something, but then never get around to it. So, that leaves me with a big collection of food pictures....

See that delicately breaded, gourmet chicken cutlet, atop our dinner salads? Don't be fooled - - those are Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets that Camden refuses to eat, so I've had to be creative in getting rid of them.

Mmmm....cupcakes!

Pizza Bites from Annie's Eats...serious yum.

Little tiny brownies. These didn't last long.

Okay...not exactly food, but delicious, nonetheless.

Mass-producing pancakes for back-to-school

Camden's "back-to-school celebration" cake...he wanted a cake that looked like a swimming pool, and that is what we came up with, thanks to FamilyFun.com, complete with Lego people

You can't go camping without Jiffy Pop

Again, not food, but I looovvve my Tupperware salt and peppers...

Another salad. Those chicken nuggets came in a 5 lb. bag, unfortunately...

Now I am sitting here wondering what there is to eat here that comes close to looking as good as your food does! Love the back to school cake.

How do you make that cupcake frosting look so perfect? You need to open a bakery. Maybe you could run it out of your trailer!

You could seriously go into food photography. YUM I hope you know we're all drooling now. (= Glad I live close enough and get the privilege of getting to eat some of that yummy food!

Fun photos. I do the same thing with flower photos. Am obsessed with them. FYI.....love your tortelini salad. Made it again last night for dinner(just so I could have it for lunch today).

Hugs to the boys and your folks. I know you are loving having them there.

LOL about the chicken nuggets! Very creative of you to use them up the way you did!

And that back to school cake is sooo adorable! You are so talented!

Kate to get the frosting to look like that, I just pipe it in circles, using a big circle tip. You can get them at Michael's or Walmart. My mom brought a great Wilton cupcake decorating kit out with her that I need to try out - - it comes with a tip that you can use to fill cupcakes.

Linda I don't know that I'm that talented...I get a lot of my inspiration from FamilyFun.com...they have the best pictures and easy instructions for so many things...but thanks for the compliment! :)
