Spring Cannot Come Soon Enough

We seem to have a case of The Plague at our house, and apparently it is Lysol-wipe-resistant, because I cannot tell you how many times I have Lysoled, bleached, mopped, wiped, etc., just about every doorknob, surface, and so-on in this house, and yet, there seems to be a never-ending cycle of illness in one form or another. I'm tired of it!! We've had fevers, infections (viral and bacterial, thankyouverymuch), runny noses, sore throats, stomach bugs...you name it, it has cycled through. Today, Griffin is the latest victim - - a restless night of fever, and today he just feels puny. He's a trooper though, and hasn't let it get him down too much. As for me, I am counting down the 58 days remaining until spring arrives. Never mind the inversions - - I'm sick of being cooped up. Fresh air always puts an end to the cycle of winter illness, and I cannot wait for it to be over with!

I'm happy you're back but sad you've all been sick. It's almost February so things will get better soon.

I have to say, I really can't complain because all of the illnesses have been pretty mild (even the stomach bugs, thank God). Just hate to see the little guys feeling badly. I thought Griff was on the upswing but was losing his teeny-tiny voice tonight. I suspect we'll be in for another quiet day tomorrow. Yes, things will be looking up soon. It was 57 degrees one day last week, so I know that spring isn't far off!

My heart jumped when you said only 58 days! That is exciting!

Saw your brother, mother, and father last night at Applebee's! :)

Aw, I hope little Griffin feels better soon. It's true that the being cooped up can be the worst during the winter.
