Be Prepared

I'm going to bed tonight with the above items on my night stand - - I've got a munchkin who has been rubbing his little ears all afternoon saying, "They itch in there!" As of bedtime, he's sniffing and snorting, so I suspect I may be in for a long night. Poor Griffer!

Sometimes if I am that prepared the worst doesn't happen (which is OKAY with me!) Hope that was true for you...

Aw! Hope it wasn't as bad as you feared.

My dad sent me a link about children's medicine being recalled, including the brands you show in the picture. You can check the NDC numbers for each medicine at McNeil Product Recall.

Thanks so much for that link, Montserrat - - I'd read an article and my husband had also forwarded an article to me. I had NOT seen the list though, and both the Motrin and Tylenol plus that I had were on the recall list. Luckily, the Tylenol had never been opened (and wouldn't have been used on Griff -- doesn't weigh enough/not old enough to take it) but the Motrin was almost gone. Wish I'd known about this months ago...I'm going to need to revisit your blog about this...didn't you write about homeopathic cold meds once?

...and, Jenn - - your theory worked for me...Griff slept peacefully last night - - a bit congested today and I have my eye on him, but he's his normal, happy self!

Poor Griffin. Hope he's feeling better in time for his special visitor tomorrow...

I just heard about this recall from my Aunt when she was asking how Cole was feeling. I have been pumping it to him all week! Errr...I wonder if you can buy the generic brand? It doesn't say anything about not buying generic...hmmm. Not sure what to give the little bugger for whatever is going on with him right now.

Glad Griffin was ok through the night. Maybe allergies?
