Where to start? The last three weeks have been very hectic at our house, but we have now officially begun deployment, so I'm going to spend the coming days updating this space with all the random things that have been going on around here. We were very lucky because in the days leading up to Steve leaving, we were able to spend a lot of time with him, which we didn't initially expect.
As for me, my little brain is buzzing with the need to shovel my house, obsessively organize my calendar, and simplify my life, among other things. The boys are doing well, and Steve is safely at his first destination, so I am happy.
Now, I need to sift through a zillion photos and buckle down and do some writing. Stay tuned!

I guess every cloud does have a silver lining-looking forward to more updates. Maybe it will kick start me to do it too. I've been making new things!
I want to hear about them so hurry up and post something! For some reason whenever Steve is away, I get into crafty-mode. I've got all my "stuff" out to make an "autumn" banner for my dining room, and I'm also going to make a fabric one (like you made for Declan's room) for my camper. Which reminds me, I need to write a camper update, don't I?
To keep your mind occupied-you should commit to posting every day. No pressure or anything.
Thinking of you Heath and sending a big hug your way. Cannot imagine you must feel. So glad your parents are there.
Thanks, Kirsten...we are doing well. It is so nice to have my folks here - - they are awesome neighbors and a huge help to me. Not to mention, so great for the boys to have their Nana and Papa here to spoil them rotten.
