We decided to celebrate Griffin's fourth birthday early this year, on September 18th, so that Steve could be here for his special day.
Early-morning gifts
Steve surprised Griff with a bouncy house in the back yard....BIG hit.
We borrowed some camo netting from the Military History Museum...another big hit!
First aid station, where the boys could bandage each other up
Griff gets doctored
As you can see, Griffin was an enthusiastic gift-opener
We all had a great day, and we were so glad that we had lots of family and friends around to help celebrate with us.

That party looks like a 4-year-old's dream come true.
What an amazing cake and party!
Looks like a huge hit! I especially love Griffin's face as he opened the presents!! He's so cute Heather!
What a fabulous birthday celebration! Happy belated birthday to Griffin!
P.S. You don't happen to have a way to ship cakes to, say, Saint Louis, do you? I know a little girl who is going to turn 3 soon, who would LOVE one of your beautiful creations. :)
I forgot to mention.....if there WERE a way to ship cakes, I would gladly pay whatever it costs in terms of labor, supplies, shipping, etc! LOL
AWESOME party and cake! Love to see what cakes you come up with-so creative
What a perfect party you put together! I would love the bouncy house myself. Have you ever considered party-planning?
Great theme party! You are such a good Mom!!!
