Speaking of cameras, I've been trying to justify buying a new digital camera for some time now. The one I have is nearly 7 years old, and it serves its purpose, but I just feel like I want to branch out a little bit. It feels like an extravagance though, so I keep putting it out of my mind. This past Friday, I left my camera in my friend Terri's car, and I have been totally lost without it. I had no idea how much I use it every single day, until I haven't had it. It's making me crazy! I really hope I can get it back today. Now, a question for all of you. If you have a digital camera, and are particularly in love with it, please leave a comment and let me know what you have, and why you love it so much. I'll consider this part of my early research into purchasing a new camera.

First Ice Cream
It was a beautiful day here yesterday, and today is shaping up to be just as lovely. Camden thought an ice cream cone would be a good idea, and I really couldn't disagree with him, you know. So, off to Sonic we went. While we were waiting for our cones, I realized this would be Griffie's first ice cream, and I about died because I didn't have my camera with me! Thank goodness for modern technology because my cell phone has a camera, so I was all set. Griffin inhaled his cone, and at one point, I attempted to lick the dripping ice cream and "help" him. He wasn't having any of that though - - he squeezed his cone so hard in protest that he crushed it.

Cute pictures of Griffin enjoying his first of many, no doubt, ice cream cones.
How fun-the first of many I bet.
Mmm Ice Cream
I have a Pentax K10D digital SLR. It's a professional grade camera so I'm not sure if you're looking for something like that or not.
I've heard the Nikon Coolpix and the Canon Powershots are quite good.
Too cute!!!
I have a Cannon EOS Rebel XT. They're on sale at Costco right now with a whole package of regualr lense, zoom lense and flash, I think.
Why do I like it? It's as hard as I make it. If I just want to take a picture, I can. If I want to make it something special, I can. Today's post I just did were all taken with this camera with NO touchups besides adding some text and zomming in a little on some. SO easy.
I also have a little Kodak Easy Share that I keep in the diaper bag for "icecream" shots. The Cannon is a little big when you add all the kid gear to a day at the park, etc. I do take it to sporting events, parties and special things that I want a really good shots of. Otherwise, I keep the Kodak on hand for quick, no time to think shots.
Good to start 'em loving that ice cream early!!
I'm a point and shoot kind of picture taker. The more basic the camera, the better. I use an Olympus Sylus 710. It has a large screen, auto-focus, lots of fun features like B&W or Sepia tones. It also has a red eye removal feature which I love for my blue eyed girls! I had two different Fuji cameras before but I like my Olympus much better. I guess the kind of camera you buy really depends on what you want to use it for. Good luck deciding!
I have a Kodak EasyShare Z710 w/10X zoom and absolutely LOVE it!! I also have a smaller one, the EasyShare Dx4530. That one stays in Robbie's truck. No complaints on either one, they take great pictures!!
I like my Kodak V803. Its compact enough to slip into a pocket, has an in-camera battery charger, perfect touch technology which even I can handle, red-eye reduction,a dozen+ scene modes, great for everyday photos. etc. Kodak.com has great deals. Right now offering free shipping and free memory card on certain models.
I use a Sony Cyber-Shot and love it because of it's compact size, it fits right in my purse, and because of how easy it is to use. I always have it with me. Especially with the triplets, I never know when a good shot is coming up...
