My wee Griffin started preschool this morning...I seriously can't believe it! He will go two days per week and I think he is going to love it. He was a bit unsure this morning, and was pretty nervous when I dropped him off, but luckily his buddy Aidan is in his class, so I think that helped. He looked like such a "big boy", all dressed up and ready to go. Now, for the first time ever, I will have two days per week where I have approximately two hours to myself. Unfortunately, I work at the library on Tuesdays, so I guess really I have one two-hour stretch to myself, but I'll take it!

Griffin looks so excited in the first photo. So glad he enjoyed his first day. Enjoy your two hour break...manicures/pedicures or linger over a special coffee...browse stores with no kids!!

I'll never forget how giddy I felt when Michael started his second year of preschool and I finally had 2.5 hours to myself three mornings a week--it was just delicious to think of all the things I could get done. Well, I didn't get that much done most days since I ended up volunteering in my older kids' classrooms many of thoe mornings, but it was still so nice (and the time spent in their classrooms was just invaluable)! Enjoy what time you have, especially knowing that your two boys are happy and safe in their schools!
